450connect and Comarch – Building a Future-Proof 450 MHz Frequency-Based Critical Infrastructure in Germany

Comarch's nominations underscore its commitment to pioneering solutions in an evolving industry. In the "Best IoT Initiative" category, the judges recognized the collaboration between 450connect, sole operator of the 450MHz frequencies in Germany, and Comarch. This innovative partnership involves the development and implementation of a central IT system for Germany's nationwide LTE450 radio network, a critical infrastructure project serving vital operators such as energy utilities and emergency services. Comarch deployed a customized core IT system based on its BSS/OSS platform, integrating advanced functionalities in IoT, network monitoring, billing, and service assurance. The solution ensures long-term operational reliability and supports Germany's energy transition. The platform's scalability and flexibility allow it to meet tight timelines and adapt to future demands, offering a replicable solution for other nations facing similar challenges.

Forecast Generator – predictive network management for optimized operations

In the "Best AI/ML Innovation" category, the organizers recognized Comarch’s Forecast Generator. This cutting-edge solution leverages machine learning (ML) automation to anticipate how digital communication networks and services will perform under specific conditions, such as weather changes or shifts in network demand during major events. Forecast Generator proactively adjusts network settings to ensure stable performance and high service quality, leading to reduced service disruptions, optimized operations, and increased customer satisfaction without additional maintenance costs.
