Comarch Communications has announced a strategic partnership with Augment Code, the Palo Alto-based developer of a specialized AI coding platform. Through this collaboration, Comarch Communications aims to move past basic AI coding tools toward deep context engineering and large-scale logic synthesis.

After successfully adopting GitHub Copilot and conducting AI-assisted coding training across its global units, Comarch Communications’ R&D teams sought an even more sophisticated solution to navigate complex software ecosystems. Following rigorous testing, the company chose the Augment platform for its ability to understand the complex logic within vast architectures. This includes the IoT Connectivity Management platform and the full suite of Comarch BSS (Business Support System) products, including the Billing and Charging systems, Product Catalogue, Order Management, and high-scale Online Charging (OCS/SCM).
