Comarch Communications Signs TM Forum Autonomous Networks Manifesto to Accelerate Zero-Touch Networks

Comarch Communications has become a signatory of the TM Forum Autonomous Networks Manifesto, joining nearly 100 leading global telecommunications operators and technology providers in a shared commitment to building zero-touch, self-managing network infrastructure.
The rapid deployment of software-defined networks and cloud-native architectures has made real-time management across domain silos increasingly difficult. According to industry analyses by TM Forum, scaling modern digital services requires moving away from fragmented, legacy automation tools toward a unified, standardized framework.
The TM Forum Autonomous Networks framework categorizes network evolution across a six-level maturity scale from Level 0 through Level 5. While many operators currently operate between Level 2 (Partial Automation) and Level 3 (Conditional Automation), the Manifesto establishes a collective commitment to accelerate progression toward Level 4 (High Automation) and Level 5 (Full Autonomy).
Key pillars driving this industry transformation include:
Intent-driven architecture: Allowing systems to interpret business requirements and translate them into operational configurations automatically.
Closed-loop control: Enabling continuous real-time monitoring, AI/ML-driven anomaly detection, and automated remediation without human intervention.
Open digital standards: Implementing standardized APIs across multi-vendor ecosystems to eliminate custom integration barriers.
Enhanced service reliability: Leveraging predictive insights to detect anomalies and resolve performance degradation before end customers are impacted.
Low-carbon emissions: Enabling green, low-carbon networks through automated technologies to manage energy consumption as traffic is expected to grow 13-fold by 2030.
Standardized frameworks over proprietary silos
By endorsing the Manifesto, signatories commit to integrating TM Forum Autonomous Networks standards and Open Digital Architecture (ODA) principles into their software design and deployment strategies. For technology providers, this alignment ensures that BSS/OSS suites support open interoperability across vendor boundary lines.
"At Comarch Communications, we have always believed that openness and interoperability are the foundation of the modern digital ecosystem," stated Marcin Kaleta, CEO of Comarch Communications. "Signing the TM Forum Autonomous Networks Manifesto is a natural continuation of our commitment to building modular, cloud-native architectures that empower Communications Service Providers worldwide. Aligning our portfolio with the TM Forum framework gives our clients the exact tools to move from fragmented automation to fully self-managing networks, which lowers operational costs and resolves issues before end users even notice."
Comarch Communications has formally aligned its product evolution with these established standards, ensuring its network management and business support platforms directly interface with autonomous network blueprints.
