Professor Janusz Filipiak – the founder, president and CEO of Comarch shares some interesting insights on his vision of the company’s growth in the Middle East and his thoughts on the future of the IT industry.

In the interview for Telecom Review, one of the leading magazines on telecommunications in the region, Professor Filipiak tells a very interesting story about the beginnings of Comarch, the company’s growth over the past 23 years and its international success.

He also comments on the company’s strategy in the Middle East, where Comarch has been present since 2004, and describes the road to success that led Comarch to gain many prominent customers in various industries across the MENA region.

"Dubai was on our radar from the very beginning. In the past few months we have expanded the team in our local office, to support the needs of our customers in the region even better. We are already working with such renowned brands in the region as Etihad, RTA, Dubai Airports, Etisalat, and other local companies, and we consider each project a rewarding and stimulating challenge," Professor Filipiak explains.

Comarch’s CEO also emphasizes three features that make the company a trusted provider for Middle Eastern telecom companies: the fact that Comarch is a family company built on traditional values, the flexibility of the company’s IT solutions and the high level of project responsibility Comarch is willing to take, as well as high focus on innovation – proven with the Most Innovative BSS/OSS Provider in the Middle East title, awarded to Comarch in December 2015.

Professor Filipiak also shares his views on the future of the company, his impressions from numerous trips to Dubai, as well as the similarities between the city and Comarch.
