On the 25th of March 2010, Comarch was awarded a third Golden Antenna (“Zlota Antena”) for its Service Quality Management tool, which has been recognized as "Product of the Year 2010" in the category of Telecommunications Operator Solutions.

Comarch Service Quality Management (SQM) is a new class of product available to Communication Service Providers (fixed and broadband, DSL, mobile) as well as CATV, ISPs and IPTV operators. Service Quality Management is an OSS system, bridging the gap between network performance and the customer perception of service quality. The system’s purpose is to measure the service quality as it is perceived by the customer, as well as to prevent customer problems. Since SQM is built over the Performance Management system, it also has an early detection capability. When PM detects a network performance problem, SQM calculates the impact on the customer service. If customer service degradation is discovered, SQM can initiate the restoration prior to the customer actually experiencing the problem. Initiating restoration operations can potentially prevent customer complaints, or at a minimum shorten the time required to repair the service following report of the problem by the customer.

Comarch SQM is another product based on the Next Generation OSS (NGOSS) framework, which comprises of a unique engine for modeling services and networks.

"'The World of Telecommunications Golden Antenna' is an extremely important and prestigious prize for us and we are honored that our products have once again been acknowledged by the judges. Modularity and the ability to identify network problems affecting the customer enables Comarch SQM to maximize its competitiveness on the market. This has been highlighted by implementation of the solution at the largest operators in Germany and Poland." – explains Piotr Piatosa, VP Telecommunications, Member of the Board, Comarch S.A.

The “World of Telecommunications" magazine contest is an event which brings into the spotlight the individuals and companies with achievements in the field of telecommunications. Its function is also to promote and propagate Polish products, solutions and technological innovations. The members of the jury are independent experts, noted market pundits and representatives of the publishing and editorial office of "World of Telecommunications" (Swiat Telekomunikacji) monthly.

Comarch was awarded its first “Antenna” in 1999 for the Tytan Billing System (at present the Comarch BSS Suite). In 2009 the award was presented for Comarch Next Generation Service Management, part of the Comarch OSS Suite portfolio, which enables managing services and resources in cutting-edge telecommunications networks – Next Generation Networks (NGN).
