Comarch Awarded for the Best OSS Transformation Project in Latin America

Krakow, 29^th September 2016 – Comarch has won recognition from Informa for the Best OSS Transformation Project in the region. The award was presented at the BSS/OSS Latin America 2016 conference.

The title was awarded to Comarch, based on the company’s extensive cooperation within the Telefónica Group in the Latin American countries. In 2014, Telefónica Global announced Comarch as the official vendor of Configuration Management and Network Planning & Design solutions for Latin America and Germany, and of Network Planning & Service Fulfillment systems for the Telefónica Group in Europe.

By implementing Comarch’s solutions, Telefónica aims to optimize and standardize their network planning processes as well as simplify and automate network configuration management for the group’s companies. Comarch’s solutions for network planning and configuration management for transport networks will support Telefónica’s rollout of new infrastructure in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, and Peru. The plan to re-use Comarch’s OSS solutions and business processes across Telefónica’s multiple locations is in line with Telefónica’s global sourcing strategy. The goal is to speed up OSS transformations and bring down their costs through group synergies.
