Krakow, December 2, 2014 – Comarch, a provider of complete telecom solutions, was selected to implement the Next Generation Performance Management platform (NGPM) for BASE Company, a major mobile network operator. The Belgium-based operator offers the best voice network quality and the fastest 3G network on the market. With the new solution implemented in a Managed Services model, the operator will be able to proactively monitor network performance. This will then allow BASE Company to best manage the quality of services offered to its customers, which is crucial to shaping the network for the future needs of mobile communications.

"BASE Company believes that the future is Mobile. As a mobile operator you must offer your customers the best price, the best network and the best service. Today we are a leader in all three areas and we aim higher. We keep on finding new solutions and better services for our customers focusing on optimal customer experience. In everything we do the quality is key," says Jos Donvil, CEO of BASE Company.

The Next Generation Performance Management platform for BASE Company is implemented in a Managed Services model and hosted at the Comarch Data Center. The new system will enable the Belgian operator to better correlate network events, a key element in providing a comprehensive view of network performance. Comarch is fully responsible for the project results and Managed Services deliveries. KPIs are defined both in the ITIL and in the time-to-market areas. Comarch will also provide integrations and network upgrades, as well as define additional KPIs and deliver reports. Comarch teamed up with MYCOM to deliver the system to BASE Company.

"It is today’s ‘do or die’ of mobile operators to dynamically and flexibly adjust to the changing market reality. Successful cooperation with BASE Company in the NGPM project, resulting in a rapid implementation progress, proves that Comarch’s approach of understanding the client’s needs and tailoring the right solution for its goals and needs goes a long way. I believe the project will support BASE Company to continue delivering first-class customer experience to its subscribers," says Piotr Piatosa, Vice President and Director of the Telecommunications Business Unit at Comarch.
