Comarch Products Acknowledged at Asian Telecom Awards 2024

March 2024 – Comarch has been awarded in the AI Initiative of the Year – Japan and the Technology Innovation of the Year – Japan categories for innovative solutions addressing the needs of the Japanese telecommunications market.

The Asian Telecom Awards is a highly regarded awards program, recognizing companies that demonstrate remarkable achievements, exceptional performance, and innovations that set new standards for the telecom industry in the Asia-Pacific region and beyond. During this year’s edition of the Asian Telecom Awards, Comarch received accolades in two categories: AI Initiative of the Year – Japan and Technology Innovation of the Year – Japan, signifying the achievements and credibility of Comarch as a reliable partner for enterprises seeking assistance in their digital transformation journey.

Comarch Forecast Generator – AI Initiative of the Year

Comarch Forecast Generator, one of the products recognized by the jury, is a powerful solution featuring extensive AI functions. This cloud-native stateless function allows accurate and comprehensive data analysis for the fully automated generation of accurate predictions and baselines that take into consideration potential anomalies and exceptions in data patterns.

As a solution tailored to East Asia Tier-1 operators’ needs, the Forecast Generator was recognized in the AI Initiative of the Year – Japan category for its extensive capabilities and reliability that empower enterprises with efficient network and service performance degradation detection, traffic and utilization engineering, and capacity management. The solution offers useful features for operation and optimization engineers to enhance their network monitoring and engineering abilities. It marks significant progress towards a fully autonomous network.

Virtualized 5G SA network for KDDI Corporation – Technology Innovation of the Year

The Polish company also received the Technology Innovation of the Year – Japan award for providing a comprehensive operational support system (OSS) for a virtualized 5G SA network for KDDI Corporation. This was made possible thanks to the collaboration with ITOCHU Techno-Solutions.
The implemented platform enables the management and supervision of all elements of the Core 5G SA network, which meets the needs of the Japanese telecommunications market.

This state-of-the-art 5G SA network utilizes an extensive set of optimization features, such as network slicing and digitization. These techniques enable unparalleled data transmission speed with little manual maintenance required, adhering to the KDDI VISION 2030 strategy. The solutions promoted in this project ensure the highest quality of business services, thanks to unified dashboards, RCA, and automated problem resolution features.
